We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team supporting our contract at the Social Security Administration (SSA) in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time, onsite leadership role that requires strong supervisory experience, knowledge of government contracting environments, and a commitment to operational excellence.

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily operations of a warehouse team of 13 staff members, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and collective bargaining agreements. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, with a demonstrated ability to manage teams, build strong client relationships, and lead with accountability and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a 13-person warehouse team, including daily task delegation and performance monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to government contract specifications, collective bargaining agreement (CBA) requirements, and federal labor standards.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with SSA personnel and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse operations.
- Oversee and approve employee timekeeping and leave requests.
- Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and coach team members to support professional development and operational excellence.
- Track and report on ticket requests, package deliveries, inventory movement, and excess property pickups.
- Schedule and coordinate office moves, deliveries, and excess property removals in collaboration with internal and external departments.
- Maintain compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and ensure a safe working environment, particularly around loading dock operations and forklift usage.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, or facilities operations.
- Experience working under collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and understanding labor compliance standards.
- Prior experience supporting or working on federal government contracts strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Proficient in conducting performance evaluations and team development.
- Familiar with OSHA standards and warehouse safety protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Government-issued ID required; must be at least 18 years old.
